Important updates:
1) Initially, until 2016, Award #10 titled “Best Promotion” had been awarded upon the production/distribution company that promoted its film in the best possible way. Later on, we realized the Award made little sense given the sporadic advancement in marketing tools in the recent years. Therefore, from 2017, the Award was replaced by a new Award that recognizes the work of sound designing in films. The Award title was rechristened as “Best Sound Design” and is awarded to the film which has the best sound design.
2) Five special Awards are introduced from the 10th Annual Awards (2022) onwards:
(i) Best Shot / Frame (ii) Best Scene Choreography – Staging (iii) Best Scene Choreography – Writing (iv) Best Intermission Block (v) Best Ending Block. These new inclusions will ensure the complete evaluation of all the films and appreciation of everything that stood out among & inside them. This will take the total tally of Awards presented from 40 to 45.
