Trivia
~ Vaali is the first ever recipient of CM’s SATC — he won it for Best Song (Lyricist).
~ Thalaivar has won Favourite Hero title 3 times — in alternating years: 2014, 2016, 2018.
~ In 2018, the Best Song (#1) award was bagged by Govind Vasantha, who had incidentally made his debut that year. This was the first time a debut composer won award #1.
~ There was a huge drop in the quality of songs from 2018 when compared to the songs from 2017. In 2017, a song ranked at #60 had a rating of 8.5/10 whereas in 2018, a song ranked at #28 had a rating of 8.4/10.
~ Vetri Maaran‘s Vada Chennai holds the record for most number of awards (9) by a film in CM’s SATC history.
