The Common Man’s Standardized Awards for Tamil Cinema is run by a group of people like you. We welcome everybody who watch and enjoy Tamil movies to join us. Without public participation, the title of our Awards has little meaning. It’s all about striking a fine balance between “Standard” and the vox populi. Come, let us all participate in this simple yet standard celebration of talents and award the best of Tamil cinema every year.

All our members can:
1) Vote for their favourites at the annual awards conferment;
2) Join any of our jury panels;
3) Select songs which will be considered for rating at the end of each year.

Our Jury Panels

You could be more than just being a member — you could play a part in the selection of winners by joining any of our jury panels. We have the following panels at the CM’s SATC:

1. Elite Jury Panel
2. Gold Jury Panel
3. Silver Jury Panel
4. Special Jury Panel
5. Song Ratings Contribution Panel

1) Elite Jury:
The powers of #2, #3, #4, & #5 plus exclusive authority in the process of selecting the winners of Category A Awards. ₹2499 per year.

2) Gold Jury:
The powers of #3, #4, & #5 plus exclusive authority in the process of selecting the winners of Category B Awards. ₹2299 per year.

3) Silver Jury:
The powers of #4 & #5 plus exclusive authority in the process of finalizing the nominees of Category A Awards. ₹1799 per year.

4) Special Jury:
The power of #5 plus exclusive authority in the process of finalizing the nominees of Category B Awards. ₹1599 per year.

5) Song Ratings Contributor:
Authority in the process of rating the songs which are considered for rating during the end of each year. ₹399 per year.

NOTE:

We reiterate our statute that ours will remain a nonprofit organisation no matter what. Hence, any intention/interest in making money out of CM’s SATC is NOT welcome. All the subscription fees, registration charges, other payments & donations made to the CM’s SATC are used for the general expenses of the CM’s SATC and its website management and the remainder for its various philanthropic activities. Similarly the donations received towards any of our campaigns are used for its original purpose only. Anyone directly or indirectly involved with the CM’s SATC gains nothing out of them.

P.S.
1) If you have experience in film journalism or in film industry or written articles about Tamil films/film industry, you may claim discount (50% to 100%) from the subscription fees.

2) Though any number of people can join us, all the information about our valued members are safe with us and our privacy policy ensures that each member’s privacy is protected. Hence no two members can connect with each other but are linked to the CM’s SATC. In short, we, the administrators, will be your mutual friend but you can’t befriend the other member in any way. The same applies to any jury panel of ours.
